My idea of peace...

I'm currently working on a post and doing my darndest to get my old camera program up and working again... so that I can share pics of my place.
Pics that will require y'all to give me your honest - and I mean honest -even if it makes me cry - opinions on what I need to do to make this place more presentable and "sellable".

Because the sooner I sell, the sooner I can be home... and sitting here:

“The best kind of friend is the kind that you can sit on the porch with,

never saying a word...

and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had.”

Looks like a good place to sit a while...selling your house must be so stressful! Having to look a 'certain way'. I am really good at seeing potential but some people can't see beyond what is in front of them...good luck!

I can only imagine how eager you are to get to that front porch. I wish you all the best.

Sounds like your trucking along. I ALWAYS here "less in the house, is more" when selling.
Hope you are well ...besides all the stress :-~

Go on the internet and look at the houses that are currently for sale. (I look on Windermere.com a lot for ideas.) See which houses look attractive--and then stage yours similar to theirs. People use the internet to pre-pick the houses they are interested in. A house with too much clutter is a big turn off. Bz is right--less is more when you're selling. It gives the potential buyer enough space to imagine themselves and their furniture in your home.

I hope the housing market in Australia isn't as depressed as it is here! I'm praying your house will sell very fast!

Heartfelt yes to that lovely quote... wish I could sit there with you although I rather think we might laugh rather too hard to maintain silence for long. xxx
