- About me? Well shucks… here I go then. I used to live in Australia, but then I decided I didn’t want to be there anymore, and I wanted to come home. so I came back to the beautiful Northern California foothills to be closer to my son. I married the boy next door in August of 2013, and in June of 2016, we moved to the gorgeous North Georgia Mountains and I couldn’t be any happier. Well, I could be, I guess, if I could just figure out how to get my first cup of coffee into me, without actually getting out of bed. And if I could have more cats. And some more chickens. And maybe a baby pig. Life would then be perfect.

Why did you remove it? If your proud to be an American then stand up girl! I can't imagine what you could have said. I am getting where if people are offended then it's their own problem. I am tired of people being offended if I want my country to survive and continue in the manner of it's founders and not it's current administration. We can't please everybody. We do have to live with our convictions and if someone doesn't like it* oh well, so sad too bad! I wish I would have read the post.
I missed it, too, but you should have the right to say what you wish without fear of offending anyone else! And if you do offend someone else, too bad. This is your territory, Katie. (And, trust me, I can lead the "I'm'a offend folk today, dudes" parade!)
So, I'll be offensive for you: If America is so damn bad, why the hell do people keep moving here? And why do we have such an illegal immigration problem? Those nutjob extremists should shove it up their turbaned arses. And our fearless leader ought to stop sucking up to the rest of the world and just take a page out of Teddy Roosevelt's book: Send the Great White Fleet around the world to show 'em who's still Great. I can go on, if you like. Or have I helped enough? ((hugs))
Karen and Marjie... I agree with you both whole-heartedly.
*sigh* But I had already had one relative *unfriend* me on facebook earlier in the day, due to my political stance, and another family member was quite incensed with the post as well, for a variety of reasons.
I was having an extremely bad day, and just figured the tears and heartache weren't worth it.
I regret removing it now, but I guess what's done is done.
DANGIT WOMAN! I MISSED IT. Can you email it to me? Or repost? And we all LOVE you for the way you speak your mind. I'm with these friends of mine here: this is YOUR space created by YOU. It will NEVER be what everyone else wants it to be, nor should it. Don't let that silence you!
