It's the weekend!

And yeah baby... its a 3 day weekend for me!

Well, every weekend off, is now a 3 day-er for me, but I'm tellin' ya true, I could get so used to this!
Just see how organized I am already... and this is only the second one!

I'm up and at 'em this morning and I'm dressed already.

In clean Jammie's,

fuzzy slippers and my hair is plunked haphazardly on the top of my head, looking like a demented birds nest.

(This looks nothing like me. I wear glasses.)
But, I feel so good!

I even had my breakfast.
4 Chips Ahoy cookies and a cup of coffee.
Just because I could.

Do I feel guilty? NO!

Do I feel lazy ? NO!

Do I feel embarrassed at sharing and baring my total lack of get-up-and-go with y'all? NO!

My get-up-and-go, has got-up-and-went, and I'm loving this.

And dinner tonight?
Well, let's just say, if we were meant to cook every night, they wouldn't have invented pizza deliveries, now would they?

Gotta run... It's time for my nana nap.

Hi Tatersmama

For that recipe, got to my LABELS list and you will find it under Recipes - click on that, then scroll down to January 16th - A Yummy Mexican dish! Last night, instead of putting mince in it - I diced up chicken breast really small and put that in instead. Yeeeummmy! Do try it, you'll love it!

Have a very indulgent weekend off!

Cheers - Joolz

Andrea, Life is good when we take the time to live, isn't it! ;-)
It's been cold here, and I just like feeling comfy! I HATE wearing that dang uniform!

Thanks Joolz! I might send the Old Guy out to the store, and pass on the pizza delivery tonight!
I think I would prefer chicken over mince, but I'll give both a try!
muaahh!

Hey, Tatersmama. This is Mother's Day weekend, so you are lucky you get to make it a 3-day-er! ;-)
I hope you have a wonderful time.
Personally, I think Moms who take care of other people's kids deserve greater accolades than regular moms. And, the Moms who care for other people's SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS are angels here on earth! So here's to you, my friend. May God heap special blessings on you this weekend.

*Hugs*

I am so happy for you. I love those pajamas! My perfect weekend is sleeping late, going to lunch with my husband, reading, reading, taking a nap, reading some more while eating chocolate and drinking diet coke.

Oh yeah, that sounds like the perfect solution for a busy week. Rest up, Katie Tatie and enjoy your day off. The Old Guy sounds like a gem to go along with your little escape plan. Happy Mother's Day too.

No kidding on the Pizza delivery... we FINALLY have it out "in the country" here. Yahoo!
And I just love the jammies. Well, good for you- hope you enjoy your time.
Got to say, that Lanolin skin softening soap you sent ... Little One and I take baths together (we have a large corner tub) and it is the first bar soap that I have washed her with and let her handle. My regular soap- not mild enough for her... ANYway, she screamed with laughter repeatedly because it kept slipping out of her hands in the tub- she thought that was a riot! Thanks for the screaming laughter -it made me crack up out loud with her. And it's all because of you!
Hugs!
