Can I ask all of you to desist from making or sharing any recipe or food-related posts until, oh... let's say, mid-April?
Because I'm trying to lose weight before April 10th, so that I can fit into at least one size smaller.
And none of you are helping at all.
No?
Well, it was worth a try anyway.
Not me, by the way... My hair is much shorter.

Yeah, I know this was directed at me. So, go look at my pictures today, and stat shoveling at your computer. You'll lose weight, I promise! When my little boys are outside building an IGLOO, you know there's a bucketload of snow!
Gee. Thanks for taking my picture from the back. But the front is worse so I guess I'll take what I can get. I'm supposed to lose weight, too, before I meet this chick from Australia. Guess I'll have to lay off the toast. It may not be the toast, though. Probably the butter, sugar, and cinnamon that's on it. Nah.
You can do it. I have faith. Did that picture come from the people of Walmart site?!
Too funny. Hey, start keeping track of what you eat online. Try TheDailyPlate.com it really helps you stay on track. And it's free.
You always make me laugh.
I just came from a blog where there were terrific looking lemon bars. I won't say anything else...
@Marjie, Directed at YOU? You think? I can assure you that I have the willpower to resist homemade, buttery melt-in-your-mouth brioch. Really I do.
Never mind. No I don't. ;-)
Now where's my snow shovel?
xoxo

@Robynn, Hey girl, you don't need to lose anything for me. I love ya just the way you are. Honest! I just want that cheap thrill of buying clothes 2 sizes smaller, when we get to the US!! But bring Reeces anyway. I'm flexible.
*muah*

@Pam, Hmmm... I don't think so. She looks a little "too tastfully dressed" to be on the People of Walmart site! I just google image searched "ladies in tight clothes" or somethin'. And as far as losing weight? I know I can do it... I know I can do it... I know.. crap, where are the potato chips? ;-)

@Kathy, Thanks for the link to the site! I'll go check it out now. BTW... have I ever told you how much you inspire me? You ROCK, girlie!

@Jan, You're mean to me. Can you please send me the link NOW? lol! ;-)

I won't tell you about the Spanish Bean Soup I made yesterday. It wasn't yummy at all! The cuban bread wasn't any good either. Sure wish I could get to that cookout! You're going to have such a good visit here in the good ole USA!
Girl...you crack me up! Guess tat's why I loove ya!
good luck on the weight loss (even though I don't think you need it)
@Becky, Now THAT'S the ticket! I don't mind folks sharing recipes that aren't "yummy at all" or "not any good either" !!
You're such a smart woman!
The visit to the US could be better... but if you can't come, I guess you can't come. :-(

@Jim, Well, you sweet little "sweet talker" you!! I'll just have to spend more time at your place, and fill up on coffee, eh? Hmmm... but have you got any cinnamon rolls to go with that coffee? ;-)
yeah and my butt has more dimples...
@Karen...Ooooh! YOUR butt has dimples too? I knew there was a reason I liked you! I used to have dimples in my cheeks (the face ones, silly) but I guess they've dropped some. And multiplied. :-(
!!!!!!!!!!!! You make me laugh so much. Thanks for this. xxxx
Not fair to post my picture without asking me first! :-D
Actually, I have lost 10 pounds and two pants sizes since my trip to Nova Scotia last October. All I did was switch my biggest meal to the lunch hour and made sure I ate my dinner (supper?) before 6:00 p.m. and then nothing more after that. I did not change what or how much I ate.
