You can open your eyes now.

Well, I hate to tell you, but if you've been holding your breath, waiting the chance to see me in my undies, you can let it out now.
And if you've been squinking your eyes shut, dreading the moment when I bare my bvds'... you can open your eyes now
You've been granted a reprieve.

Why?
This is why...

Not that this is me... but this is the actual position I'm in right now.

Besides, I don't wear pink pants.

Yet.

I will when I'm older, though.

See, the thing is... I spent most of the morning working and weeding in the yard and everything was great, right up until the end. I was almost done, and just picking of the last of the weeds for the compost pile, when something went "pop" in my lower back... and that was the end of that.

I can't stand upright, I can't take a deep breath, and I've been sitting around all night with a pack of peas on my back. But did I eat those peas? No... you can bet your sweet bippy that I did not.

I had McDonald's for dinner. A healthy(er) choice of course. Really. A Caesar Salad wrap and a glass of iced tea.

And for dessert, I had 2 extra-strength Nurofen.

We'll see how it goes tomorrow, and if I can stand up straight enough to take a full length photo, instead of just a pic of my knee caps, maybe I can post that potentially gag inducing pic after all.

Don't hold your breath though.

Glad to hear you went for the
Caeser wrap instead of a burger. Well done! Hope your back improves quickly,

Cheers - Joolz

My goodness Katie, Am I going to have to come down there and straighten you up ... literally! From one 'ole war horse' to another ... heat 20 minutes, slow, slow stretching ... slow twisting of spine (on the floor ... and if you're like me while you're down there you might think about other chores you can do down there!) then Ice pack/bag of peas for 20 minutes. Good job on the McDonald choices ... hope you are up and at 'em very soon. :>)

Oh no!! I hope you feel better soon. I hate when that happens. DO you have a good Chiropracter you can go to if it isn't better? Mine did wonders for me. I remember not being able to take a deep breath. OUCH!!!

Oh my poor starchy lady. What ever will we do without that photo? I was going to hang it in a place of honor - in the pantry over my 5 lb. can of Crisco!

Please - go to the chiropractor and get you back fixed. I can bear to think of you in such pain:-(

I look like that, too, most of the time. Sorry the garden beat you up! I sit on a heating pad to relieve the pain when it's bad - maybe that will help you.
