The far side of sanity, Up in them thar hills, United States
About me? Well shucks… here I go then.
I used to live in Australia, but then I decided I didn’t want to be there anymore, and I wanted to come home. so I came back to the beautiful Northern California foothills to be closer to my son. I married the boy next door in August of 2013, and in June of 2016, we moved to the gorgeous North Georgia Mountains and I couldn’t be any happier. Well, I could be, I guess, if I could just figure out how to get my first cup of coffee into me, without actually getting out of bed. And if I could have more cats. And some more chickens. And maybe a baby pig. Life would then be perfect.
I don't have a tooth ache but I want some cocaine ... or chocolate. I'm praying for you darling. I hope your dentist is cute to take your mind off your mouth. I wonder if he would wear a 'Sam' mask for you. You used to be able to buy tooth paint in a tiny little bottle from the chemist - that worked a treat.
I am not a fan of toothache, nothing seems to ease the pain. You were lucky to get into get it fixed so quick, I had to wait a week once and then I needed to go to a nearby town to get it done.
My daughter in Melbourne had all four wisdom teeth pulled out two days ago and boy has she got a sore mouth.
Yee ouch. I hate going to the dentist and hate any pain to do with my mouth so I'm so sorry you're in distress. Go with The Old Dairy's advice - bet that works a treat!
The good news is you'll feel better (hopefully?) by this time tomorrow. Wait, it probably is almost this time tomorrow where you are. Huh?
As I was saying, you know you can tell your dentist off while he has his hands in your mouth because he'll never know the difference. It's therapeutic. Let us know!
Yikes--hope you are feeling better soon....no words of wisdom here, but I just HAD to post since my word verification is TATER!! Couldn't waste that chance!! :-)
I'm still hanging in there, but I'm still in pain. Not as bad as before, but bad enough... *sob*
I'm hungry enough to eat a horse, but I don't dare eat or drink anything, because EVERYTHING makes it hurt worse. That toothache paint stuff plus a little scotch is definitely taking the edge off - either that, or I just can't feel much. LOL! It sucks that I'm taking the day off tomorrow ...and I have to waste it, to see an evil dentist.
Oh, you poor dear. But I'm so late in reading/commenting, that I think you must be back from the dentist by now and back to normal--I hope! For your sake. But I must say, you sure can make a funny post no matter how you feel. That's real talent, girl!
AWWWWWWWWWW so sorry you have a naughty tooth hurting you. Very glad I have plastic teeth sending you healing.. And I'll drink a scotch for you too see what a good friend I am to you...
Ohh toothaches... usually so dull and deep... kind of like that pain in your gut after drinking too much (dull & deep) and not much you can do about it (I only know this from YEARS back when I had a tiny itsy-bitsy wild hair for a short time in my youth). Point is ... "moderation" on the Old Dairy's solution :-)! I hope you get feeling better soon.

the absolute WORST pain...im sooo sorry!!
I hope you are feeling better now and can enjoy some of what's left of your day off.
So sorry Katie Tatie - hit yourself in the knee with a hammer, cause it might distract you from the toothache for a while.
I left you a little something at my place today. Come on over and get it.
Take some Crisco with you when you go to the dentist tomorrow, and maybe he'll be extra gentle:)
